I lead my life.

  1. They say the older we get the more ourselves we become ~ ourselves being layers of the many phases of our lives. Great poem, and so true. Thanks for sharing.

    • This is a poem that really speaks to what I’ve been thinking about lately. I think you’re correct in saying we become more ourselves…yet I feel a shift in the way I am treated in society…and I’m still coming to grips with the person I see in the mirror. Thanks for your comment!
